Vocation Story: My name is Jack Perez, and I'm from St. Margaret of Scotland Parish. This is my first year in the seminary. One of my goals for this year is to improve my English. I began my discernment to the priesthood after accompanying my father to an appointment with the priest of my parish (Fr. Zoghby). He asked me some questions about my dreams, and I told him that I would like to play Christian music and that I thought it was my vocation. Then Fr. Zoghby asked me if I had considered becoming a priest, to which I responded, that if it is God's will, so it will be. But those words he said to me did not leave my mind and led me to speak with him more about discerning the priesthood. And now, thank God, I am beginning my first year in the seminary.
