Super healing, because it is selfless and I could use it to help people Vocation Story: My name is Christopher, and I am starting my Propaedeutic year of seminary at St. Joseph's Abbey and Seminary College in Covington, Louisiana. I grew up as a Protestant and only came into the beautiful Catholic faith as a freshman in high school. Not long after I professed a desire to become Catholic, the idea of the priesthood entered my mind. At the first, it was only an idea, but after a time it started to become a question. The question of the priesthood lingered in the back of my mind until I finally accepted it later in high school. Immediately, I was filled with great peace in my acceptance of it. By the end of high school, I decided to go to college before entering the seminary. Unfortunately, this was a time of great turbulence for me until one day in adoration. During prayer, I felt as if I had been hit with a wake-up call and God was telling me he had given me this desire for a reason and that I needed to pursue it! I left college and entered into an intense discernment process, in which I came to the happy conclusion to enter into the seminary to pursue this wonderful desire.
