Dear Searcher,
We look forward to you attending the Search Retreat Feb 6th-9th, 2026, in Andalusia, AL at the Amazing Camp Blue Lake.
Transportation to and from the retreat is NOT provided. If for some reason you are unable to attend please let us know.
A few people have asked what to pack. We sent very detailed information to each parent. But there was info included in that sheet that was for parents' eyes only.
So below is what to pack. Important forms to sign were also sent to the parents.
-Bathroom supplies (i.e. towel, washcloth, soap, tooth brush, etc)
-Pillow and bedding (we are sleeping on bunk bed mattress, so bring either a sleeping bag or sheets/blankets)
-Bible
-Snacks and Drinks to share (popular items, Little Debbie snacks, individual oreos, etc) If there is something you really like, bring it.
-Clothing that is appropriate, remember this is a retreat, dress as though you are meeting with Christ himself. But also check the weather, It looks to be mild, but can be chilly in the ballroom and at night. We will be spending a good amount of time outside.
-And most importantly an open mind, be open to the Holy Spirit so He can enter into you.
Search is a technology free weekend, so Phones are not allowed. We will collect phones at the start of the retreat and will return them at lunch on Sunday.
You can also leave your phone at home and inform your parents that you are, we also informed them that we care phone free.
